Today I’m sharing some of my favorite vegan products – to purchase for yourself or gift a loved one.
I’ve categorized these vegan products into areas of food, wellness, fashion and beauty, and cooking products.
Vegan Products I love: Food
Of course, we begin with food!
NUTJAR: After my cooking demo at Planted Expo, I took some time to visit the vendors and try new vegan products. NutJar was my favorite new vegan product find at the expo – by far. This local company has created (and nut products) that will BLOW your mind.
Handmade in small batches this local company uses proprietary manufacturing techniques to create 100% plant-based nut butters that have NO palm oil and no artificial ingredients. Their pecan spread tastes like Pecan Pie, with just 2 ingredients (pecans and date powder)! Watch my video here for more.
And, how about this Golden spread? Like a turmeric latte in the form of nut butter! Actually, add some warm plant-based milk to a spoonful of the Golden spread and you will have a dynamite homemade golden latte!
Get the holiday pack of nut butter, packaged nuts, or some of each. Either way, just GET some. You won’t regret it.
: Yeah, I’ve talked a lot about these. In my tea time videos, and through posts and newsletters. As with the NutJar, you won’t regret picking up these squares. Use my code: DREENA15 for .
Taza Chocolate: Gorgeous line of vegan chocolate, Taza Chocolate is 100% Certified USDA Organic, Direct Trade, Gluten-Free, Kosher, & Non-GMO Verified. All of their products are also dairy free, soy free, and vegan. And, they currently have a holiday special running, 15% off sitewide with code JOY15: LInk here.
Try one of their seasonal chocolates like this Gingerbread Cookie, maybe the Almond Milk Crunchy Cashew bar, or for a true chocolate lover 🙌 one of the gift packs.
Truffle Sea Salt: I showed how I use this salt for spuds in one of my Tea Time videos, and I use it in the wildly delicious Truffle-Salted Cashew Cheese in Dreena’s Kind Kitchen. When you link through, you’ll see there are flavor options with this brand – one with rosemary and another with parsley. They are all good!
Vanilla Bean Powder: I’m always asked what vanilla powder I use in my recipes. I was using a brand that went out of stock, and then discovered Wilderness Poets. It is DIVINE. So fragrant, so potent, you’ll use less than you expect. I also picked up the Dragron Fruit powder which is gorgeous and fun to use in smoothies! Link here.
Vegan Products I Love: Wellness
Dohm Sound Machine: This is the sound machine I have and use nightly. I like to have diffused noise, but don’t love the white noise sound that most machines offer. This one has soothing ambient sounds of rushing air, rather than that electric-sounding white noise. Here is the same model on amazon.ca, just not available in black.
Bellicon: I have had my Bellicon rebounder for over 10 years. It’s still like new, and I use it 3-5 times a week. I absolutely love it. And, contrary to popular thought on rebounding, you aren’t jumping UP as much as you are pressing down into the mat with jumping. Link here.
Rebounding is extremely beneficial not just for overall cardio health and fitness, it also activates the lymphatic system, strengthens muscles and balance, and builds our proprioceptive skills. All important for wellness, and especially as we age. Bellicon rarely offers discounts, but you can get one now during Black Friday.
: I showed these in a recent tea time video (cue to 54 mins). I picked these up on amazon.ca (here they are on amazon.com). If you don’t want to shop on Amazon, you can find them .
: I talked about this light in a recent Tea Time video.
This Aurora device is new for me this year, I felt it would benefit my mood through the fall and winter. It’s one of the measures I employ for mental health, which has been a factor in my life.
Vegan Products I Love: Fashion
Vegan Necklaces: I worked with Christy Robinson to bring you these two beautiful necklace designs. Either would be a lovely, affordable gift!
1) Vegan Plant-Power in recycled sterling silver
2) Vegan Gem Necklace in recycled sterling silver with real natural gemstones.
If earrings are more your thing, check out this site for sustainable gold hoops and other earrings.
Lululemon Align Leggings and Joggers: I did a video about the align leggings, and they are still my first pick for yoga. Soon after I discovered the Lululemon align joggers.
They are loose on the legs, have pockets, and are dreamy soft! I wear a size up from the leggings, because I like a looser fit for joggers. I love them for yin and restorative classes, but also just for casual wear. Get a pair and you will love them.
And if the traditional leggings are what you need, you can’t go wrong with the Align Leggings.
Vegan Products I love: Skincare
OCosmedics: I’ve done a post and a few videos about OCosmedics. Hands-down the best vegan skincare I have ever used. It’s an investment in your skin, and you will see results. Not overnight, but you will.
My before and after…
And, see THESE two before and afters… one and two.
Also, I’ve heard from people that are so impressed with the customer care that Jackie provides. She consults with you online, sends the products with extra notes, and offers follow-up. That’s rare when purchasing skincare – or anything. Email Jackie here, she won’t push products. Tell her I sent you (hint: bonus gift)!
Vegan Products I love: Cooking
Epicurean Cutting Board: The ONLY Cutting Board You’ll Ever Need
I’ve had this cutting board for years. Years. Actually, I have two, but mostly use the smaller one. It’s the nutmeg color, about 9 x 11 in size). I use this smaller one every day, at least twice a day. It’s handy and fits in the dishwasher nicely.
I bought mine at a local kitchen shop, but here’s the amazon link. What I love about this board: not only is it eco-friendly, BPA-free, and dishwasher-safe, it doesn’t hold smells like onion and garlic. The only cutting board you’ll want to use. Read this post for more details.
Self-Sharpening Chef’s KnifeWait, cooks should want a fancy-schmancy knife, right? Well, yes, but then we have to keep it sharpened. Make it easy for your vegan home cook, get them a self-sharpening knife! (amazon.ca link)
Blendtec: As with my Bellicon, I’ve used Blendtec for over a decade and love the blender design. I also have the twister jar which I use almost as much as the standard jar, for oil-free dressings and sauces. Pick up a Blendtec or ANY jar/accessory and get 20% off with Blendtec Coupon Code: YAY-BLENDTEC here.
Zip Tops: Whether a gift for someone or maybe for yourself, ziptops will be appreciated. I use mine everyday, and need to pick up a second set. They run promotions frequently, and right now there’s a SUPER offer, buy 1 and get one 50% off. Link here.
Instant Pot I don’t have to explain too much about the joys of using an Instant Pot, do I? If you don’t have one, this new Instant Pot® Pro™ Plus 6-quart Smart Multi-Cooker is highly rated. BONUS: Instant Brands agreed to offer 10% off until Dec 12th with code: DREENA10. Link here.
And, once you have an IP, you need a couple of extra sealing rings. Don’t make the same mistake I did, 😭 get yourself an extra sealing ring – or two! Another idea great gift is an IP steamer basket. (amazon.ca sealing ring).
Instant Brands Air Fryer: I don’t have this unit, but hear it’s a great unit. If you have an air fryer on your wish list, this one from the people that brought you the Instant Pot might be the one. BONUS: Instant Brands agreed to offer 10% off until Dec 12th with code: DREENA10. Link here.
Breville Toaster Oven and Food Processor
I use both of these appliances regularly. Especially the Breville Smart Oven, which I use several times a day.
And here’s the Breville food processor that I use and love for big batches of hummus, veggie burgers, and other big mixtures. It’s a 16-cup so will accommodate recipes like my Beet Burgers. And, can also handle larger sticky mixes like my Protein Power Balls and a double-batch of Nanaimo Bars.
Vegan Products I Love: Vegan Cookbooks
Of course, I will offer up my cookbooks as a lovely vegan gift. I’ll start Dreena’s Kind Kitchen.
