Happy December, friends!
Last year I did a roundup of gift ideas for vegans. This year I gathered ideas from others as well, for another collection of gifts for vegans you love. Or, to gift yourself — you gorgeous vegan you!

Let’s go!
Gift for Vegans: Fashion Enthusiasts
NitNat’s Beads

I have one a NitNat bracelet of my very own. They are made by fellow vegan Natalie, who is also one of my recipe testers and an admin for our PPF group. Aren’t these bracelets with the animal charms fun? Look at this kiddo bracelet! Adorable. Great gift ideas that are very affordable.
Vegan Tote
Last year vegan purses were popular in my roundup. Aren’t purses fabulous gifts for vegans? Most of us need (er, want) a few different styles. This year I’ve chosen two totes that can double as purses – or to carry a laptop. Sweet!
Vegan Necklace
Last year I partnered with Christy Robinson to create this new exclusive necklace design. This necklace was a hit last year, so if you are ordering one this year – do so soon!
NEW Bamboo Vegan Tanks and Tees
- you had me at vegan
- #hummusisafoodgroup

I’ve been working on these bamboo tanks and t-shirts for months. If you KNOW you want one for Christmas – immediately – email me (dreenaburton@gmail.com). We will get the size and shipment sorted asap! The tanks are women’s, but the t-shirts are unisex (just shown here on a man).
Gifts for Vegans: Cooking Enthusiasts
Kitchen Tools
This list is the same as last year, and I consider these ‘splurges’. But truly, I use the toaster oven and blender at least once a day (usually 2-3x) and the processor most days. The InstantPot – well, that’s a must have even if you only use it once a week.
Breville Sous Chef Food Processor

I love my Instant Pot, and even though I don’t use it daily, it’s so useful for cooking dried beans, soups and stews, and more.

ScanPan
I’m asked often about non-stick frying pans. For oil-free cooking, a good non-stick is essential. I heard Mary McDougall recommend ScanPan in an interview, so I picked one up for myself. It’s sturdy. The non-stick is durable. It works. I recommend a larger size (this one is 12.5 inch), but have a look at some other options.
Cookbooks

Most of you have my cookbooks, but if you don’t, check out my full collection here. I have 5 solo cookbooks and partnered with Dr. Barnard on two recent cookbooks. Also, if you missed it, my new SNACKS ebook is now out! The bundle promo (quite a steal) is on for just another week.
Gifts for Vegans: Yoga Enthusiasts
Of course, I must include some yoga love after just graduating from my yoga teacher training!
These Under Armour leg warmers aren’t just for yoga. I have a pair and LOVE them. Not too pricey, great color tones, and cozy!
Mat Spray
Yogis love a natural spray to freshen their mats! You can make your own, or pick up one like this.
If you’d like more ideas for a special yogi (yourself included), think about balls for myofascial release, or a spanking new yoga mat!
Gifts for Vegans: Foodies!
The baker in your life will love you forever when you gift him/her with vanilla bean powder. It is divine. Just smelling it is therapeutic! I use it in baked goods, to sprinkle a finished dessert, even to sprinkle on chocolate bark (see upcoming recipe). It looks pricey but a little goes a long way. Hint: stocking stuffer!
Balsamic Reduction
Balsamic reduction is not only delicious, it’s quite useful for seasoning in oil-free cooking. I use it for roasting vegetables, finishing pizzas, grains, and more. There are two options in this link for you to look at. The Nonna Pia’s brand is also widely available in stores! Hint: also great stocking stuffer!
If you love the aroma and flavor of truffles… but don’t want to use truffle oil… this is your new bestie! Again, a little pricey, but a little goes a long way. A sprinkle of truffle sea salt is exceptional on baked spuds, home fries, grilled mushrooms, pizza, and on. Our girls have come to love it – maybe a little too much!
Vegan Chocolate
Yup, as always there’s chocolate!

Here are some of the popular choices from last year. Next week I’ll share THAT ⬆️ chocolate recipe for gifting, stay tuned!
Rose City Chocolates
Premium Chocolatiers (ships to Canada)
Booja Booja Chocolates (also on amazon)
Lagusta’s Luscious
Pure Lovin’ Chocolates (Canada) (They have incredible caramel cups!)
Premium Chocolatiers
Miami beach truffles
Gifts for Vegans: Animal Charity
The past two years I’ve included Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary in my gift guide – and doing so again this year. Our wee girl has been asking this past month “mommy, you are going to try and raise money for Cromwell again this year, right? ❤️

Last year we adopted Cromwell (see this FB post) and contribute a monthly donation to help the sanctuary do their good work. You can also adopt an animal, or you can simply give a one-time donation. Any amount is appreciated by the sanctuary, I know. They are so grateful for any monetary support.
and… what am I gifting myself this year?
Weighted Blanket
I’ve been looking into a weighted blanket for a little while. I do have a heavier throw on my bed, and it does me good! Without it, I don’t feel I ‘sink’ into bed.
Part of my YTT training was learning about restorative yoga. We had discussions about the use of weighted props like blankets and eye pillows in restorative poses. They are very grounding, and especially useful for people with vata doshas. I’ve narrowed it down to these few brands. If any of you already own a weighted blanket and have a recommendation – will you please share the brand? Thank you!
This wraps up (har) my 2018 collection of gifts for vegans. What items catch your eye?

Marmot makes a vegan coat “Georgina”
Synthetic fill allegedly as warm as 700 fil down
Dreena says
That’s one to bookmark. I’ve been asked about winter coats for deep cold temps – thanks Barbara!
Shannon says
I like the leg warmers, but please don’t promote Under Armour brand. The company owners are known supporters of trophy hunters who hunt and kill animals on endangered species lists. There are, I’m sure, other cruelty free companies more worth a nod on your list.
Dreena says
Hi Shannon. Thanks for sharing this. I will look for other options, I didn’t know this. I appreciate the information. Still, it’s challenging to find fully vegan companies for products we buy. When we buy a couch, it’s from a company that most likely also produces leather furniture. Your point is valid and received.
Sandy says
I kept seeing ads for Goldn Plump chicken breast fillets while I was reading your recommendations,. Can they just advertise wherever they want? They certainly hit the wrong audience this time.
Dreena says
Hi Sandy, sorry you are seeing those ads. Ads are based on previous clicks or search history from a user’s device. Does anyone else use your computer/mobile device. Even if they inadvertently clicked the ad, that’s why more similar ads will later show.
Kat says
Great list! Also check out Herbivore Clothing for all sorts of great vegan gift ideas. They are an awesome family in Portland, OR.
Dreena says
They are indeed! I’ve bought items there myself – thanks for mentioning, Kat!
Natalie says
Wow Dreena!! <3
Thank you so much for the mention of NitNat's Beads!
Dreena says
of course! 🙂
Christina says
Hi! Great list! Can I order NitNat beads somewhere other than Facebook? Would love more info!
Dreena says
I’ll ask her to check in, thanks Christina!
Natalie of NitNat's Beads says
Hi Christina, I’m sorry I missed your post! I did send a reply, but it didn’t update on Dreena’s blog for some reason. You can send me an email directly at nitnatsbeads at gmail dot com. Sorry I’m writing out here, I don’t want internet robots getting my email and spamming me!
