So I planned to post this giveaway last week, as a follow-up to my Mother’s Day recipes. You know that saying “your eyes are bigger than your stomach”? … Well, I guess my plans were bigger than my presence.
With the official release of my book, and preparing for my book signing (photos coming), fitting in a blog post was far too much for this author/mama-of-three last week. I think it’s for the best anyhow. Because us mamas should have more than one day a year to be acknowledged for all that we do! Right? I say we celebrate ourselves every month. I think I would definitely make green smoothies and maybe hummus. I love almond butter and would use for that too!

i’d definitely make smoothies first (since i make them almost every day). but one thing i’d love to try that i’ve never been able to do with my current blender is nut butters! i spend so much money on them and eat like a jar a week lol. (maple almond butter by justin’s brand is my all time favorite). i’d love to play around with some homemade recipes ๐

My mom and dad are not the healthiest as they age, so I would gift it to them to make healthy smoothies and soups <3
