So I planned to post this giveaway last week, as a follow-up to my Mother’s Day recipes. You know that saying “your eyes are bigger than your stomach”? … Well, I guess my plans were bigger than my presence.
With the official release of my book, and preparing for my book signing (photos coming), fitting in a blog post was far too much for this author/mama-of-three last week. I think it’s for the best anyhow. Because us mamas should have more than one day a year to be acknowledged for all that we do! Right? I say we celebrate ourselves every month. I would love to try making nut milk. My current blender just can’t get nuts blended smooth enough. I do make smoothies every morning for breakfast, so I would use the blender for that too.

I am just starting changing to a vegan lifestyle and am looking forward to checking out your new cookbook. I make a green smoothie for breakfast most morning and have used my blender with a few soups as well but there are still so many things I would like to try, e.g., making my own hummus and nut-based salad dressings. With summer almost here I hope to try making some “nice” creams and fruit sorbets. Yummm…. Thanks for this chance to win.
