It’s as simple as that, right?
For those of us that have been eating vegan and plant-based for years, we are finally s
Yes, we have quite a long way to go. But I have never seen and heard the word vegan more than I have in this past month.
It seems all at once big brands are advertising their oldies as – not just vegan – but “always have been”! Wow.
(In other words, we were always hip to this vegan thing. No you weren’t, but I do love the big splash of vegan on a cereal box!)
Then, on the radio, I’m hearing ads for food deliveries and new restaurants promoting “we offer vegan“… and another radio interview where the host actually
No, he wasn’t vegan. It’s a mere matter of awareness changing.
Far cry from interviews I did 10 – 15 years ago. I was always put on the defensive about our diet with questions like… Aren’t you concerned about calcium? Your children drink milk though, right? Do your children feel
Oy.
Those were
Now, we are in the era to wear our vegan choices loud and proud!
I’ve designed new t-shirts to showcase our love for being vegan – and of course, for hummus. 😍
How are these different from my other t-shirt designs? Well, these are:
- printed locally
- made with bamboo and organic cotton! (SO soft)
- sold directly through my ETSY shop – this means you don’t have to order via a 3rd party shop like
zazzle - tanks are for women
- tees unisex
I did a number of polls on these designs, and these colors and choices came out on top. I love them myself!
Guys, I make little moolah on these shirts. This is something I want to share with you. So, I printed a small quantity for a test run to see what sizes/styles sell well.
I cropped the images so you see just the torso. I greatly dislike the perfected look of the models that the printer used for samples. Turns me off, and I suspect it turns off others as well.
I’ve been wearing
What do you think of these new styles? I hope you wear them proudly! 💚 x Dreena
p.s. I also have “you had me at avocado”… if I get enough demand I’ll print those too!

Hi Dreena, I would love to order a tee or two, but this is not working correctly. I went to ETSY & there are many tees,
but it is just too difficult. Help. BTW, love your recipes !!!
Dreena says
oh so sorry! I thought the link I added was direct to my shop. Here it is now: http://bit.ly/DREENA Thanks Ruth.

Gen says
Any chance you have a long sleeve You Had Me at Vegan style?
Dreena says
Hi Gen, I don’t. I had to choose the most likely styles to sell because there were some printing limits.
Robin Nichols says
What’s your Etsy shop name? The link only takes me to Etsy’s main site.
Dreena says
So sorry, Robin, I thought I added the direct link. I’m updating it now – here it is: http://bit.ly/DREENA
Paula says
Didn’t see a link and couldn’t find on ETSY
Dreena says
Apologies, Paula, here’s the direct link: http://bit.ly/DREENA
Linda says
Are long sleeve T’s available?
Dreena says
Hi Linda, I don’t have long sleeves at this time. There were limits for how many options I could print on in this quantity.
Stacey says
Where do we click to buy one?
Roo says
I finally figured it out ! Click on the pics of the tees, above, then when you get to ETSY, type in ‘Dreena Burton’ &
you will get to her site. I think these are too pricey for tees.
Dreena says
Yes, sorry for the confusion, I am updating the post with the direct link (thought it was) – here it is direct to my shop: http://bit.ly/DREENA
The price is higher because these are bamboo.
Dreena says
Sorry about that Stacey, here it is: http://bit.ly/DREENA
