Today I am re-releasing easy oil-free vegan recipes from Let Them Eat Vegan! This project began over 2 years ago, and finally today I am thrilled to deliver these collections to you (read on for the “why”)…
First, some of you may not know my cookbook, Let Them Eat Vegan. It was published in 2012 and has more recipes than any of my other cookbooks.
I love the recipes in that book – but what has really mattered to me is how much readers have loved these recipes. I often hear that LTEV is their favorite book. FAVORITE.
Not because it’s flashy or well-designed. But because of the quality of the recipes. I worked my tush off with that book. It was so important that I deliver the quantity of recipes with the quality. And I did.
However, the production of the book was adequate, at best. Beyond production, there was a huge flub with book launch requiring a recall of the books – which led to poor sales.
Back to the start of this post.
A couple of years ago I heard from a reader that they received a black and white copy of LTEV. I wrote about it in detail here.
So I decided to return to my love of those recipes and redeliver them to you in a new way.
These revised recipes are:
- easier/quicker to prep: I have cut some longer steps to bring you easy oil-free vegan recipes
- fully oil-free: while not all of my recipes in the original LTEV contained oil, most of the baked goods and many savory dishes did include some oil. These revised recipes are fully oil-free.
- fully photographed: every recipe in these ebooks is photographed, unlike my the original printed book which had a photo insert of a handful photographed recipes.

So what easy oil-free vegan recipes are in this revised collection?
First, I have divided the collection into savory and sweet ebooks. This gives you easier reference to the recipes and also the option only to purchase sweet or savory (if that’s your preference).
Second, both collections include a BONUS recipe you will not find in LTEV!
