At long last … time to dig into oil-free vegan snack recipes!
Friends, it’s taken me some time to compile these recipes, get them tested (oh my darling recipe testers, thank you), photography, and then design.
But it’s done, it’s really done!
A follow-up to my very popular Plant-Powered Dressings collection, this ebook has been a couple of years in the making, and I know many of you have been waiting for these oil-free vegan snack recipes – so let’s get to it!
This ebook includes 17 oil-free vegan snack recipes. All recipes are also gluten-free, and with the exception of one dipping sauce – are nut-free or offer a nut-free option.

As mentioned in this video, this ebook all started with the popcorn recipes!
Popcorn is one of the archrivals of oil-free snacking.
How do you make oil-free popcorn… so that it will hold salt or other seasonings without getting soggy?
I found a technique to make caramel corn, then a chocolate-covered popcorn, and then a savory Umami Popcorn!
Watch my demo of this delicious CHOCOLATE Popcorn!
With those oil-free vegan popcorn recipes under my belt, I was off to create this ebook.
Of course, then realized we also needed crispy oven-baked spuds, and a munchy granola, chickpea nuggets… chickpea fries!
And because we all love sweet potatoes, I developed yet another sweet potato treat. Chocolate Sweet Potato Pudding for the win!
Hey, you can watch me demo this chocolate pudding too!
These oil-free vegan snack recipes offer something for everyone. Sweet, savory, cold, warm, crunchy, silky-smooth… and yes, chocolate.

Chickpea fries sound yum! They all sound delicious! I need this book as my littles are perpetual snackers (rather than big meal eaters)!

This looks amazing! I am trying to avoid sugar – do most of the recipes use coconut sugar or something else (dates etc?)? Thanks for your generosity in sharing your recipes.
Dreena says
Hi Colleen, thanks so much for sharing your first impression!
For the sweet recipes (about 1/2 of them), I use dates in a couple, pure maple syrup in another few, and then coconut sugar in one. Where coconut sugar is used you could replace with date sugar. Hope that helps.
