I hope some of you got a chance to dig into that A-Game Chili… because now I’ll be distracting you with more recipes from this !
This is a collection of 20 recipes spanning breakfast to mains to desserts. Here’s the recipe breakdown:
Some of the recipes may be familiar to you – such as Pumpkin Seed Poppers and Cranberry-Lemon Muffins. That’s because this ebook contains recipes that were included as a bonus when Plant-Powered Families was released six years ago. (I cannot believe that was six years now). 😲
I decided to include those recipes as well as some new additions, such as the Rich Curried Pasta Sauce (it’s one of my fave new recipes) and Gingerbread Bites. Some of you had the opportunity to review this ebook before the holidays and those Gingerbread Bites were a hit!
Simply Plants ebook FAQ
Yes. All recipes are free of added oils.
Only one recipe (the PB cups) uses coconut butter, and the Rich Curried Pasta Sauce uses a small amount of coconut milk which you can optionally substitute with plain plant-based milk or lite coconut milk.
Just two recipes include gluten: the Cranberry-Lemon Muffins and the cake layers for the Chocolate Mousse Cake. Other recipes use oat products if you can eat gluten-free oats.
Yes! Most recipes are for everyday cooking and baking. The cake takes a little more time because it has components (frosting and cake layers), and the PB Cups aren’t necessarily every day, but fun for a special treat or for holidays. But most of these recipes are ones you can turn to daily such as the Blueberry Cobbler Cake, both of the soups, the falafels (so easy to make!), the Pumpkin Lentil Curry, and the Rich Curried Pasta Sauce – all so simple to prepare.
This ebook is on sale now for just . And, I’m offering a BONUS if your order before January 15th, you will receive this printable plant-based shopping checklist for free (showing part of it below).

I created this grocery list with space for you to include any special categorical items that I may not have included. It’s quite comprehensive and prints on one page! You can also purchase it as a separate download here.
Finally, a few recipe images from the ebook…
All that’s left is for you to strap on that apron!

Have tried three of the recipes, since I got the cookbook before Christmas.
The gingerbread bites are delicious. My second batch, I made smaller and I put a piece of candied ginger in the middle. A hit. People liked the bite size version.maybe it us older folk who like a two bite cookie and then perhaps two!
The Rich Curried Pasta Sauce is outstanding. Made it with a butternut squash that was from a neighbour’s garden.
The Cauliflower Bean Burger’s are scrumptious as well. Actually having one for dinner tonight as I froze half the batch. Have had as a burger as well as the topping of a salad.
I have made your pumpkin seed poppers about a year ago, and need to make them again, thanks for the reminder.
Will make all again and try some new recipes. Want to try your Mozza Dip.
Next up is to make something lemon, as my husband loves lemon. Am going to make the cranberry lemon yogurt muffins, this week. Have been trying to experiment with making a lemon pudding without coconut cream (too much fat for hubby and myself in coconut cream). We love the sweet potato chocolate pudding, I wonder how to make that into a lemon pudding?
Dreena, where do you get the green chickpeas?
As always, you provide us with delicious recipes, thank you. Will keep me enjoying the winter months as we hunker down and try and stay safe.

Thank you, Nancy, for your feedback on the recipes – so appreciated!
And, I’m delighted to read you are enjoying some of these recipes already.
As for the green chickpeas, we buy the big bags at Costco. It’s this brand: http://naturesclassic.com/products/green-chickpeas/
And, you have me thinking on a lemon pudding! I’ll get back to you on that, want to experiment. 🙂
