The holidays are here and I wanted to offer you a little gift. How about 13 new, healthy, and fabulous plant-powered recipes for FREE?!
I want you to start 2013 with nourishing, whole plant foods, designed to delight your tastebuds and power you into a vibrant new year!
How does this work? Have a look below, it’s pretty simple: Pick up 2 copies of LTEV, OR 1 copy of LTEV and 1 copy of any other ‘Dreena’ cookbook between now (Nov. 27th) and December 31st, and send proof of purchase to: firstname.lastname@example.org. In late December, I will email you a package of 13 NEW plant-powered recipes to kickstart 2013!
Cookbooks make great gifts… for your luvvy, a friend, sibling, and of course – for you!
(and, if you have LTEV and love it, if you can take 2 minutes to leave a review on amazon, that would be an awesome stocking stuffer for me). 😉
Any questions? Feel free to ask for clarification on anything – Happy Holidays!

As fabulous as this offer is, I’m not sure I can swing buying your cookbooks right now. I’m going to make a donation to your site through paypal as I plan to use one of your recipes for Christmas. Hopefully I can pick up the cookbooks after the holidays.
Just want to add, however, that I’d be very interested in the 13 healthy and oil free recipes for the new year as an ebook that is available for purchase on its own if you’d ever consider that.
But I get it, a promo is a promo (and this as a good one). Cheers and thank you for all that you do!

Oh screw it. I decided to not be such a stingy scrooge and I went ahead and bought the books.
Happy Holidays to one and all!
Hi Michael, just getting to your comment. Thanks for your support, and I will be doing another ebook in the new year for certain, co-authoring with another and it will include more oil-free recipes. But, I just see that the holidays got the best of you and you picked up on the offer. 😉 I think you’ll get PLENTY of use of LTEV – so many recipes in there and also MANY tips and tutorials, it’s jam-packed with info. And, I’ll be getting the PP-13 package out soon – had the “Umami Almond and Sundried Tomato Burgers” for dinner tonight, just finalizing the last tweak – they are awesome. Thanks for your support, and also for the chuckle… your second note cracked me up!
Hey Dreena- I keep posting comments here and I do not see them pop up. I wonder if you are getting my messages at all.
hi, I’m seeing this one – didn’t see any others. Hopefully you get my reply.
Is there any way you would consider selling the cookbook to people who have all your cookbooks and no vegan friends who would appreciate your cookbooks as much as we would??
Do all of your recipes feature No oil? I would be interested if so. Following Dr. Esselstyn’s recommended diet.
Hi Fran, not all, but many do. Most that have oil can be easily modified, and in my newest cookbook (Let Them Eat Vegan) most of the burgers/dips/soups etc are oil-free or have the option. And, the new recipes that are part of my “plant-powered 13” recipe package for the new year are all oil-free. I have moved into more oil-free recipes in recent years, and here are some that I have posted on my blog: https://dreenaburton.com/recipe-page/?search_term=oil-free&ui=1665&d=1 Hope that helps!
Dear Dreena. I say this lovingly: I already have all your books. I would LOVE these recipes.
On a different note I want your opinion. Can you explain why you prefer Blendtec over Vitamix? Do you think Vitamix 2 Speed would be enough for my personal use? I will wait to hear back from you. Much love and I am dead curious about these 13 recipes!! I hope you reconsider because you never disappoint me with your recipes. L:ove,
Hi Ozlem, I haven’t ever used a Vitamix. But, speaking with people that have used both, they have remarked that they prefer the wide base of Blendtec and that it doesn’t have a tamper tool. In fact, Vitamix tried to copy Blendtec’s design recently, see in this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPwJUqBkTBg&feature=youtu.be
As for the recipes, I’ve had some ask if they can buy the recipes separately, sort of like a mini-ebook… I am considering this and going to post an idea soon. Hope that helps. 🙂
Now is this fair? I’ve got ALL your books and I can’t even copy old receipts off of Amazon as my printer is on the blink. Bah! Humbug! Not you, you’re nice but I’m busy pouting.
I can however copy Amazon receipts into an e-mail. Now why didn’t I think of that before? 😉

Just emailed you my receipt. Looking forward to trying your amazing recipes!
thanks Teresa! I’ll get back to you soon by email. 🙂
Does this promo include Kindle purchases?
You bet, Sara. Just email me your receipt to confirm, and you’re good to go!
Christa @ Edible Balance says
I have finally ordered LTEV and ED&BV!! Seriously, what was taking me so long?! I’ve wanted them for months, but haven’t made the plunge… can’t wait to get them!
Just sent you an email 🙂
I don’t know what’s taken you so long, Christa! 😉 Wonderful, I’ll send you a confirmation email soon and get the recipes out later in December. Thanks for your support. 🙂
Aliza Ma'or says
I ordered my LTEV on Nov 11th 🙁
Hi Aliza, I’m sorry! It sucks trying to pick any particular date to start/end because there will always be people that buy just outside of the offer dates. I don’t want to leave anyone out but it’s not a promo if I don’t choose dates. 🙁
Amy V. says
Just bought them and sent you the receipt! Excited! 🙂
Does the purchase at other store than amazon.com qualify?
Yes, any store, and doesn’t have to be online – you can scan/copy the receipt showing the books purchased within this promo period (up until the 31st Dec). 🙂
sniff…I own them all…and don’t have vegan friends I can buy them for…sniff, sniff..
Hi Dreena! Is it possible to buy two “other Dreena books”? I’d love to buy two of your other books that I dont have because I have LTEV and I’ve given one earlier as a gift as well 🙂 Thank you! xo
Yes, I can swing that for you Tiffany. 😉
Fantastic! I’ll spread the word.
Thanks Matt, you’re a star!
